Tout est parti du jour o\u00f9, au ch\u00e2teau de Compi\u00e8gne, pour comm\u00e9morer le bicentenaire de la naissance de Prosper M\u00e9rim\u00e9e, Bernard Pivot mit \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve un public nombreux avec une dict\u00e9e truff\u00e9e de pi\u00e8ges, comme lui seul sait en ourdir. La comp\u00e9tition, ouverte aux internautes francophones du monde entier, enregistra une participation record. Il n\u2019en fallait pas plus pour que l\u2019id\u00e9e germ\u00e2t dans l\u2019esprit de Fran\u00e7ois, correcteur dans un grand hebdomadaire parisien : lancer un atelier d\u2019\u00e9criture, avec des internautes s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s parmi les meilleurs comp\u00e9titeurs de l\u2019\u00e9dition du Bicentenaire (…).
\nC\u2019est ainsi que, de fil en aiguille, le groupe allait finir par mettre au point l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ment, r\u00e9current, qui devait servir de \u00ab liant \u00bb : un personnage que l\u2019on retrouve dans chaque fiction, et qui conclut chacune d\u2019elle. Un personnage intermittent, en somme. Et ce qui devait \u00eatre un simple recueil de nouvelles se transforma, par la vertu d\u2019une \u00e9nigme insens\u00e9e et d\u2019une structure narrative in\u00e9dite, en un roman compos\u00e9, comme chez Milan Kundera, \u00ab de nouvelles embo\u00eet\u00e9es : une autre fa\u00e7on de d\u00e9passer la lin\u00e9arit\u00e9 \u00bb.
\nSi, aux yeux de Kundera, tout personnage est un \u00ab ego exp\u00e9rimental \u00bb, notre personnage intermittent, lui, entame une exp\u00e9rience d\u00e9sesp\u00e9r\u00e9e : celle qui le fait courir d\u2019emploi en contre-emploi. Et c\u2019est \u00e0 cet intermittent de la fiction que Fran\u00e7ois, le ma\u00eetre d\u2019\u0153uvre, offre, ici, l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 de se r\u00e9aliser, sur un sc\u00e9nario chaque fois renouvel\u00e9, avec, cependant, une constante : cette manie extravagante, contract\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole des \u00ab\u00a0Femmes savantes\u00a0\u00bb, qui lui rend intol\u00e9rable toute atteinte \u00e0 la grammaire (en commettant ce qu’il appelle des \u00ab\u00a0accords d\u00e9viants\u00a0\u00bb), au point de le mener \u00e0 la d\u00e9rive\u2026
\nAinsi, dans un improbable jeu de r\u00f4les, celui que la presse surnommera \u00ab\u00a0Le Fou de Moli\u00e8re\u00a0\u00bb va traverser cette saga, et s\u2019incarner l\u00e0 o\u00f9 on ne l\u2019attend pas, m\u00eame si le lecteur finit par deviner ce qui l\u2019attend, et pour cause !…<\/p>\n
